Riding, mountain walking combined with sightseeing tours in Cracow – year- round offer (all times of the year)

In cooperation with a Riding School a member of Association of Polish Riding Schools and organizer of 5th International Hot Air Balloon UE Cup which will take place in Cracow in September 2010, TEAM-KRAKOW would like to invite you to participate in 5-days staying in a cozy, quiet horse riding farm. Surrounding by forests and meadows, in a distance from other people you will enjoy the nature.

The program includes

Horse riding for everyone (whether you are a beginner or more experienced rider) on paddock outside, paddock inside and in the forests. Mountains walking to Babia Góra 1725m in Beskidy mountains – UNESCO biosphere area, a whole day in Cracow city – sightseeing with English speaking guide. Visiting salt mine in Wieliczka with a guide, an evening with a lute player, who lives in a renaissance house in vicinity, bread baking like in old days and a balloon flight for those who would like to fly if the weather allows, of course.

Price: 1 090 PLN/per person in a group of 8.

The price includes: transfer to/from the airport Krakow/Katowice to/from Riding Farm, accommodation 4 nights in 2- or 4- persons rooms on the farm, 4 breakfasts, 3 dinners, 3 suppers, 2 hours horse riding in paddock, 1 hour riding outside, bus tours, entrance fee according to detailed program, English speaking guide in Cracow city (incl. The Royal Cathedral and the famous Gotic Altar in St. Mary’s Church) , guide in Wieliczka salt mine, guide to Babia Góra in Beskidy mountains, bread baking, the evening with lute player and evening with wood fire.

Extra costs are connected with:
• horse riding escursion to scansen park i Zubrzyca Górna (with a leader) for experienced riders that lasts about 6-7 hours– extra 80 PLN/per person
• Cracow Royal Castle sightseeing
• Balloon flight see Balloon flights


The price doesn’t include fly tickets because we will focus on all activities we are offering. Nowadays there are so many possibilities to come to Cracow that our guests will decide when and where they can be picked up by us - whether at the airport or any other place in Cracow or Katowice.

Of course these “5 days in nature” can be shorter or longer and can be changed according to your needs. Please, let us know!

The Programme

DAY 1. FROM CRACOW/KATOWICE – RIDING FARM I TOPORZYSKO

A guide will meet you and pick you up in order to take you to Toporzysko riding farm 70 km from Cracow city. After dinner you can ride a horse or go for a walk. After supper, we will light a wood fire with sausages , bread and beer on an outdoor fireplace.

DAY 2. TOPORZYSKO – RIDING, EXCURSION TO BABIA GÓRA 1725m

After breakfast there are 3 possibilities: to ride through the forests area to scansen park about 6-7 hours, stay on the farm for riding in paddock or go for a walk with a guide to Babia Gora- a biosphere area also 6-7 hours. After dinner you have some time on your own and then after supper we will take you to a well-known lute player and his renaissance house for lute music and songs in different languages listening.

DAY 3. CRACOW SIGHTSEEING WITH A GUIDE

After breakfast we will Take you to Cracow city for sightseeing. You will see Wawel hill with Royal Castle and you will spend about 1 hours visiting The Royal Cathedral. After that we will follow The Royal Route – medieval Main Square, St. Mary’s church with famous Gotic Altar and the preserved fortifications. After a break we will continue to Kazimierz quarter for a piece of history. Then you will have time for your own and you will decide when you want to be picked up to go back to the farm.

DAY 4. WIELICZKA SALT MINE SIGHTSEEING

After breakfast you choose what you want to do to dinner time – ride or bake bread in a special cottage. After dinner we will take you to Wieliczka . That day will be the last evening on the farm so we will celebrate a little.

DAY 5. BALLON FLIGT AND THE TIME TO SAY GOODBYE

Those who have decided to fly balloon have to be prepared for that at 6.00 in the morning. If the weather is good you will fly and come back about 11.00 for breakfast. Other people have free time until 12.00 when we say goodbye and we will take you to airport Cracow/Katowice or place you choose.
